Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Charge Nurse will play a crucial role in overseeing patient care, managing nursing staff, and ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure effective patient care delivery. Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including injections and tube feeding. Provide specialized care in areas such as ophthalmology, geriatrics, PICU, and neonatal ventilator management. Manage pain management protocols for patients with varying needs. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and workers' compensation law. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Serve as a resource for nursing staff regarding clinical practices and policies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications Current nursing license in the state of practice. Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in medical-surgical nursing or specialized areas such as ostomy care or pain management. Strong knowledge of patient care protocols and best practices. Experience administering injections and familiarity with tube feeding procedures is preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team effectively. Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
