Chariton Pharmacy Warehouse Clerk FLSA:

Non-Exempt General Function Responsible for preparing, assembling, and filing purchase orders. Must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Core Competencies Partnerships Growth mindset Results oriented Customer focused Professionalism Primary Duties and Responsibilities Prints purchase order receiving tags and verifies receipt of merchandise Answers telephone, investigates and assists callers Schedules trucks for incoming freight deliveries Assists in slotting new merchandise, measuring cases, maintaining pallet configuration, proper description and UPC of merchandise Assists with cycle counts, problem pallets, code dating, etc Coordinates with purchasing department and other distribution departments Reports to work when scheduled and on-time Secondary Duties and Responsibilities Performs functions of distribution center person as needed Calls retail stores when needed Corrects orders if necessary (double billing or reverse entry) Verifies supplies for the complex and informs supervisors of supply needs Verifies inventories, makes adjustments and arranges pallet moves Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required Verify and receive inventory accurately into the InfiniTrak system Track returned and damaged products, ensuring items are properly identified, documented, and stored according to company procedures Record all returns and damaged merchandise in Inimar with complete and accurate documentation Use the Host system to cross-reference purchase orders and validate product information Maintain accurate records of product recall information, including identifying affected items, tracking status, and ensuring proper handling and documentation per company and regulatory requirements Education and Experience High school or equivalent experience Basic computer knowledge necessary Six months to one year similar or related work experience Physical Requirements Must have the ability to perform repetitive lifting and heavy work: exerting 10-40 pounds of force frequently to lift and place objects. Will repetitively lift boxes of a variety of shapes and weights. Must take and pass warehouse fitness test, drug screen and hearing test. Visual requirements include clarity of vision at distance of less than 20 inches and up to 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision. Must be able to hear in both ears well enough to maintain safety-hearing co-worker horn or shout of warning; must be able to maintain hearing well enough to wear headset covering one ear and still maintain hearing for safety in the other ear. Parameters of hearing according to Vocollect technologies standards for safe operation of headset. Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Working Conditions The duties of this position are performed in a warehouse setting. There is a frequent pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects in a day.
