CHAUFFEUR DELIVERY DRIVER/WAREHOUSE REQUIREMENTS

Must speak English well enough to take instructions from supervisors and communicate with customers. Must understand enough math to understand and verify manifest quantities, picked up from vendors and delivered to customers. Must be able to read and write English well enough to use maps, work orders and instruction manuals. Preferably forklift certified or experienced. Must have a valid Commercial Class D Driver's License and means of transportation to/from work. Must have a clean driving record and no DUI convictions, or drug/alcohol related incidents. Must have 2+ of commercial driving experience. Prefer experience in lumber yard environment. Must be able to present at least three job references. Must submit to a per-employment drug test as a condition of employment, and pass such test. Must abide by the Company's Substance Abuse Policy, periodically submit to drug testing and pass all such tests. Must have the full use of the body and sens es The Delivery Driver must have the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Must present evidence of his/her ability to work legally in the United States. Must be physically capable of loading and unloading trucks. Must abide by the Company's dress code as detailed in the employee manual.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The work is primarily performed as a delivery driver with some work done in the yard and at the customer's premises.

TASKS AND DUTIES

Completes all work and routes, as assigned by the Shipping Manager as quickly as possible. Deliver and pick up building materials, as instructed by the Shipping Manager. Carefully record all instructions and requests from customers and relay them to the Operations Manager.
