A cheesemonger shares knowledge about products and ingredients with guests and recommends products and portion sizes. Reports to the Store Operations Manager.

Assists the retail counters with daily operations as needed to ensure counters are running smoothlyEnsures retail supplies are in stock and being utilized properly at all stationsStocks counter and display refrigerators neatly, accurately and in a timely mannerSlices, weighs, labels, displays, sells and packages products per department standards and guest specificationsManages transfers between departments to ensure accurate inventory levels and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)Provides a steady presence on the floor, constantly interacting with guests, employees, vendors and visitorsPerforms other duties as required or assignedQualifications2+ years of experience in food serviceKnowledge of steps of serviceGreat communication and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of Italian productsJob RequirementsAvailability to work onsite with a flexible schedule sometimes including evenings, weekends and holidaysAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting

Compensation:
