The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and safety, with experience in fine dining and catering. The Chef will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety are maintained. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking in the kitchen. Develop and design menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure efficient operations. Coordinate catering services for events, including banquets and private parties. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor food presentation and quality to ensure consistency with restaurant standards. Requirements Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a fine dining or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety regulations. Experience in inventory management and control processes. Ability to supervise kitchen staff effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Excellent culinary skills with a creative flair for menu development. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes that exceed guest expectations.
