Thatcher Company of New York is seeking qualified Chemical Truck Loader Operator on Swing Shift to work in our Williamson, NY facility. Competitive salary $22-25 per hour Major Accountabilities Load and unload tanks, rail cars, tanker trailers, and all other containers Operate commercial yard trucks to move trailers around the plant. Experience preferred but not required. Understand and operate plant equipment and processes Regularly lift 50 pounds Operate pumps and loading equipment Operate forklift

Swing Shift M-F Required Qualifications:

Desire and demonstrated ability to work safely and promote safety/safe work practices. Be quality conscious. High School diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language well for safety and operations Aptitude to follow written and verbal instructions in detail and learn additional skills with experience. Capacity to work in extreme conditions (temperature) and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Experience in a manufacturing environment, including the use of tools and equipment, is preferred. Ability to wear applicable personal protective equipment (PPE), including chemical-resistant gloves and boots, safety glasses, hard hat, face shield, full-face respirator (if required), and chemical splash suit (overalls and jacket). Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
