Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, risk analysis, and strategic planning. This role requires a proactive leader with exceptional financial acumen, a strong understanding of regulatory standards, and the ability to influence business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, and fiscal management within diverse organizational settings. Duties Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to ensure long-term sustainability and growth. Oversee corporate accounting functions, including financial reporting, compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards. Lead risk management efforts by conducting thorough risk analysis, ensuring SOX compliance (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), COSO frameworks, and implementing effective internal controls. Manage treasury functions such as cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity management to optimize financial resources. Supervise budgeting processes, expense management, cost control initiatives, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making. Oversee Mergers & Acquisitions activities by conducting market analysis, valuation assessments, due diligence, and negotiation to facilitate successful integrations. Prepare detailed financial reports and interpret complex data to inform senior leadership on profit & loss statements, revenue cycle management, and overall financial health. Lead regulatory reporting efforts ensuring compliance with governmental accounting standards and other legal requirements across jurisdictions. Drive business development initiatives by analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for revenue growth while managing associated risks. Qualifications Proven experience in senior leadership roles within finance or accounting functions, demonstrating strong supervisory skills and strategic vision. Extensive knowledge of financial concepts including fiscal management, risk analysis, cost management, and revenue management. Expertise in technical accounting standards such as
GAAP, IFRS, IAS, COSO
frameworks, and ASC 606 revenue recognition. Strong background in corporate finance activities including mergers & acquisitions, treasury management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Familiarity with governmental accounting practices when applicable; experience with nonprofit or public sector accounting is a plus. Proficiency with advanced financial software systems and tools used for analysis and reporting purposes. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights for senior leadership. Excellent negotiation skills combined with business development acumen to foster strategic partnerships and growth opportunities. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing teams across multiple functions while promoting a culture of integrity and continuous improvement.
