Child Care Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to foster their development through play, learning activities, and positive interactions. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support for children of various ages. Duties Supervise and engage with children in a safe and stimulating environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Provide care for infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed. Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques. Maintain a clean and organized space for children's activities. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to health and safety guidelines. Administer first aid when necessary and maintain up-to-date knowledge of emergency procedures. Experience Previous experience in childcare settings such as classrooms, babysitting, or nannying is preferred. Familiarity with early childhood education principles is a plus. Knowledge of behavior management strategies to support children's development. Certification in first aid or CPR is highly desirable. Experience caring for infants or young children is beneficial.
