Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the development and well-being of children by providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster positive growth, social skills, and early learning experiences for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Responsibilities Assist in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Support teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and cognitive growth. Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure their safety at all times. Help with diapering, feeding, and basic hygiene routines for infants and toddlers in accordance with health standards. Engage children in educational activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and emotional development. Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate any concerns or observations to lead staff or parents as needed. Support classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and respectful interactions among children. Skills Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Ability to respond quickly with first aid skills in case of minor injuries or emergencies. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, children, and parents. Compassionate caregiving approach with patience and enthusiasm for working with diverse groups of children. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
