Monday-Thursday, 2:00 PM - 5:30

PM Flexibility Required:

Ability to occasionally adjust schedule once or twice per month as needed. Position Summary We are seeking a caring, reliable, and responsible In-Home Daycare Assistant to help provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children ages 1-5 years old in a mixed-age group setting. The ideal candidate will be confident supervising children independently, maintaining daily routines, and supporting a positive learning and play environment. Responsibilities Supervise and care for up to 6 children independently in a mixed-age group setting (ages 1-5). Ensure children's safety, well-being, and emotional needs are met at all times. Assist with daily routines including snacks, playtime, toileting, and nap preparation. Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities and learning experiences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of daycare areas. Communicate professionally with the daycare provider and parents when needed. Follow daycare policies, health regulations, and safety procedures. Qualifications & Requirements Candidates must have or be willing to obtain the following:

Basic Child Care Training Current CPR & First Aid Certification Washington State Food Handler's Card Annual required childcare compliance trainings Previous childcare experience preferred Ability to work independently and responsibly Strong supervision and communication skills Dependable, patient, and nurturing personality Preferred Qualities Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children Comfortable managing mixed-age groups Flexible and adaptable Positive attitude and strong work ethic If you are passionate about working with children and creating a warm, safe environment, we would love to hear from you.
