For the past 30 years Bells Little Learners has been providing a premier educational experience for children all over Bergen County while still having the family owned atmosphere within the schools. Our schools are set up to provide our families with a wonderful experience and we have the ability to give them the individual attention they need. Our Paramus location has been open for 30 years and now we are looking for a full time director to continue the reputation of providing excellent care for the students. We are looking for an energetic, responsible and kind person that can work with the staff and families every day in a positive manner. Our Ideal director would have the ability to be a leader to our staff and a partner with our parents. We are looking for someone that possess the ability to communicate well in every situation and can be the calm in the storm when things are busy. The Directors responsibilities

• Oversee the day to day operations of the school.
• Provide tours, register new families and build positive relationships with our current families
• Ensure all state licensing rules and regulations are followed and be the point person when the state inspectors are on site
• Keeping all state required paperwork organized and up to date
• Supervise the current staff and recruit and hire more staff as needed using a positive attitude and providing appropriate training Qualifications
• BA or BS in a related field to Education
• Must have at least one year of teaching experience as training staff properly is extremely important.
• Prior Managerial experience in a childcare/preschool setting as a director or assistant director for at least 2 years
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple situations effectively while still remaining calm and clear.
• Must be organized and have an understanding of computers and programs that are used in childcare
• Must be able to sit on the floor with children and participate as needed to positively assist staff as needed
• Must be able to have a positive relationship with all families; even families that may be difficult.
• Must love children and love being with them everyday
• Must be able to read and write English Our priority is the happiness, health and safety of not only the children in our care but also their families and our staff.

Pay:

$58,479.24 - $62,792.20 per year
