Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Child Care Director to lead and inspire our early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations within our childcare facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. Your leadership will foster a positive atmosphere that promotes childhood development, supports staff excellence, and maintains compliance with all licensing standards. Responsibilities Lead the planning and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum that supports early childhood education, preschool development, and toddler care. Supervise classroom activities to ensure they meet educational standards and promote positive behavior management. Oversee daily operations, including enrollment procedures, staff scheduling, and maintaining compliance with licensing regulations. Support staff development through coaching, training in classroom management, caregiving techniques, and special education strategies. Ensure health and safety protocols are rigorously followed, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans. Foster strong relationships with families by communicating program updates, developmental progress, and addressing concerns promptly. Manage budgets, supplies, and resources to create an enriching environment for children while maintaining operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience working with children across various age groups such as infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and students with disabilities. Demonstrated classroom experience in early childhood education or daycare settings with strong classroom management skills. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in caregiving and behavior management. Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly desirable. Prior experience in leadership roles within childcare centers or daycare facilities is preferred. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and licensing authorities.
