Child Care Teacher

Calling All Faith-Filled, Fun-Loving Educators! Trailblazer Academy is growing, and we're looking for a Lead Teacher who's ready to make an impact. If you've got a heart for kids, a passion for early learning, and a love for Jesus—we might be your dream team. We are specifically looking for a strong Pre-K Teacher to work with children ages 4-5 years old. This is not just a childcare position—we are looking for someone with a true passion for teaching, school readiness, and preparing children for kindergarten success. As a Lead Teacher, you'll help shape young minds, support your classroom team, and bring high-energy, high-impact lessons to life. You'll guide students academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually—and you'll do it all with purpose, play, and a whole lot of heart.

Schedule:

8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Create a nurturing, faith-filled environment where children can thrive Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate, and God-honoring lessons Create meaningful learning experiences that support kindergarten readiness Support co-teachers and assistants in maintaining classroom culture and routines Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff Communicate milestones, concerns, and curriculum highlights to families Keep a sense of humor—because kids are hilarious and no day is the same You Might Be a

Trailblazer If:

You have previous experience working with children in a classroom setting You have experience with lesson planning and implementing curriculum You have a strong desire to TEACH—not simply supervise children You are organized, creative, proactive, and calm under pressure You bring high energy into the classroom and enjoy actively engaging with children throughout the day You are comfortable being on your feet, leading activities, singing songs, dancing, and making learning exciting You love Jesus and align with our Statement of Faith You believe play-based learning is powerful and purposeful You've got early childhood experience (and maybe some dance moves too) You're ready to lead with love, patience, consistency, and purpose
