Child Care Teacher Assistant (Infant Room)

Smart from the Start Childcare in the Chester Heights/Garnet Valley area, is looking for an energetic teacher assistant to join our team. We are currently looking for a full-time experienced Infant Room teacher assistant. Employees will be asked to help with planned activities, daily care of children, and communicating with parents. Preferred candidates are professional, caring, and truly excited to spend time with infants and toddlers. This person should be committed to making each day and every opportunity a positive one.

Successful candidates must have:

1. Experience working with young children 2. Strong communication and collaboration skills 3. The ability to and interact with children, parents and staff 4. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices 5. A high level of creativity and an enthusiasm for teaching. 6. Bring a personal creative touch to the classroom 7. The ability to follow licensing requirements 8. The ability to follow school policies for early childhood development 9.
