Job Description

Duties:
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons for children in a daycare setting
  • Create and maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Develop and follow a daily schedule that includes playtime, educational activities, meals, and rest periods
  • Provide individualized attention and support to each child's unique needs
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
  • Monitor and ensure the well-being of children at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the classroom and play areas
  • Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement curriculum plans
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with students in a daycare or preschool setting
  • Knowledge of child development principles and curriculum development
  • Strong understanding of childcare best practices and safety guidelines
  • Ability to educate and engage children in age-appropriate activities
  • Excellent classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Understanding of child welfare regulations and compliance standards
  • Basic math skills for teaching early numeracy concepts We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
