In this vital role, you will coordinate daily operations, ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children of various ages, and foster a team dedicated to early childhood development. Your leadership will inspire staff, engage families, and uphold the highest standards of childcare excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while managing a dynamic team committed to creating joyful learning experiences. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote childhood development, social-emotional skills, and early learning milestones Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring engaging, safe, and inclusive environments for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs Supervise and support teaching staff through classroom management guidance, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development Maintain compliance with all licensing regulations, safety standards, and health protocols including first aid procedures Foster positive relationships with families by communicating program updates, addressing concerns, and encouraging family involvement Oversee staff scheduling, training in caregiving techniques such as behavior management and working with children with disabilities Manage administrative tasks including record-keeping for child progress, incident reports, and licensing documentation Experience Proven experience working with children across various age groups in daycare or preschool settings Strong background in early childhood education principles and childhood development strategies Demonstrated classroom management skills and ability to lead a team of caregivers or teachers Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or behavior management are a plus Prior nannying or babysitting experience involving infant care or toddler care can be beneficial Familiarity with licensing requirements for childcare centers and daycare operations Join us as our Childcare Director to lead a dedicated team in creating enriching experiences that support children's growth while fostering a warm community for families.
