Childcare & Enrichment Team Member

Overview Join our Childcare & Enrichment Team as a dedicated team member committed to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children of all ages. In this role, you will support early childhood development through fun, educational activities and personalized care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while developing your skills in childcare and education. We provide special event childcare, such as weddings, conferences, and date night drop off events. This Position is for our Summer Camp at Zyland located in Concord. June 9th-July 30th 8:30-4 PM M-TH and FRI 8:30-12:30 PM. We also have a monthly drop off night event that we are looking for support with. Duties Supervise and engage children during structured activities, free play, and mealtime to promote social, emotional, and physical development Assist with classroom organization, setup of educational materials, and maintaining a clean, safe environment Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special requirements, ensuring inclusive participation Implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and learning in toddlers, infants, and preschoolers Practice proper behavior management techniques to foster positive interactions and respectful conduct among children Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow established health and safety protocols diligently Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and daily experiences Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings with classroom experience preferred Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Ability to handle various caregiving tasks including infant care, toddler care, and preschool activities with patience and enthusiasm Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable to ensure safety at all times Excellent behavior management skills to guide children positively and constructively Compassionate caregiver with experience supporting individuals with disabilities or special needs Effective communicator capable of collaborating with team members and engaging parents in their child's growth journey Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels joyful learning experiences! Pay:

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
