Childcare Worker Group Home for Youth with Disabilities

Job description: Childcare Worker - Group Home for Youth with Disabilities We are looking for caring and reliable Childcare Workers to support youth with developmental and intellectual disabilities in our group home. This role focuses on creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment while helping residents build independence and life skills.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care, supervision, and daily support to residents Assist with personal care, meals, medication (if trained), and transportation Encourage positive social, emotional, and behavioral development Support residents in recreational, educational, and community activities Maintain accurate daily documentation and reports Serve as a role model while promoting dignity, respect, and inclusion

Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED required (Human Services degree preferred) Experience working with youth or individuals with disabilities strongly preferred Must have valid driver's license and clean record Able to pass background check and complete CPR/First Aid training Patient, dependable, and compassionate with strong communication skills

Schedule:

Includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
