• Part-time Children and Youth Director Position Part-Time (10 hrs/week) Bostwick Lake Congregational United Church of Christ is looking for a part-time Children and Youth director who will help the congregation enfold, build relationships with, and spiritually nurture children and youth in our congregation and larger community.

The children and youth director will work closely with the pastor, the faith formation team, and the council to help us meet our goals with respect to growing our ministry to children and youth. Responsibilities Teach a Sunday school class each Sunday using existing or premade lessons and materials and/or organize lessons and materials for volunteers to teach the classes. Develop and maintain a list of volunteers to teach Sunday school. Plan a once-a-month week night gathering for youth and members of the congregation (eg. bowling, game night, service project, etc.) Work with the Worship Team to encourage youth participation and leadership in worship. Meet one-on-one with youth to deepen relationships. Help the faith formation team plan and prepare for a summer VBS week. Share ideas and insights about children and youth ministry with the faith formation team and council to help us grow in this area of ministry.
