Childrens and Family Ministries Director

Oversee the weekly aspects of our children's ministry for newborn - fourth grade. Share a profound love of Jesus with the children of our church and community. Pray daily for the ministry, children, and families that you serve. Motivate the children in their commitment and connection to the body of Christ. Encourage them to contribute to the mission of Christ and ultimately impact the world. Pursue growth for every child and set a goal to see each child actively grow in their faith. Develop an engaging Sunday morning program that reaches each child on their level. Act as the point person and a partner for communication with parents. Train and encourage volunteers. Run background checks and make quarterly schedules. Encourage parents to be involved in the spiritual formation of their kids' lives. Research and decide on the most effective programs to impact children. Develop and oversee the annual children's ministry budget in a way that effectively utilizes church resources and maximizes ministry opportunities. Coordinate mid-week opportunities for children to continue to learn and grow. Plan family events and activities throughout the year. Direct the Mega Sports Camp summer outreach program. Attend weekly staff meetings and communicate with staff as needed. Update the website, social media, calendars, and bulletin weekly. Manage our Kid's Check-in system. Plan special Sundays such as Child Dedications, Easter Activities & Christmas program. Oversee the Kids Hope USA mentoring program we have at Siple Elementary. This position requires an associate's degree in early childhood education and at least two years of experience working with Children in children's ministry or children's education.
