Childrens Center Director

The Lakes Church is seeking a full time director for our Children's Center! This person would oversee a team of amazing, competent teachers and staff and would be joining the staff team of The Lakes church helping to bring God's love and truth to children and families! We truly love our children, families and teachers!

The Lakes Children's Center, as an extension of The Lakes church, exists to honor God's deep love for children by providing a safe environment, caring staff, and opportunities for children to explore nature and learn through play. We strive to partner with our families and staff to create a community of belonging and support; rooted in God's truth and love.

The director is responsible for:

Managing the daily operations of the Children's Center Supporting and training our team of teachers in order to provide an environment of excellent care and learning for our children. Connecting and communicating with parents. Curriculum planning and enhancement. Manage staffing, scheduling, and classroom ratios Ensuring compliance with state regulations and maintaining licensing Coordinate supplies, routines, and overall center organization Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout the center Qualifications The required licensing/certification to perform this role (We can help you know if you are qualified! Please reach out - we could assist you in getting the proper qualifications.) Past experience working with children Formal education in Child Development or Early Education is preferred Demonstrated experience managing a team Deep understanding of childcare, child development, and education Team management and administrative skills A love for Jesus and children
