We have a great opportunity with our production team. Hours are M-F 6 am to 2:30 pm and every third Saturday from 8 am to 12 pm.

Job Duties:

Check incoming metal scrap to remove contaminants like plastics, wood or unapproved metals. Load raw wire, cable, sheet metal, or other materials into hopper. Watch material flow to prevent jams, overloads, or blade damage during high-volume processing. Separate chopped metal cleanly from insulation debris using shaking screens or air separation systems. Collect and dispose of non-metallic waste byproducts. Utilize forklift and mini excavator to transport heavy bins, Gaylord boxes, and raw material to and from chopper. Weigh incoming raw scrap and outgoing processed metal to track machine yield and recovery rates. Complete daily safety, preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties. Starting pay $18-22 per hour depending on equipment exprience plus opportunities for quarterly bonuses.
