This position requires proficiency in playing traditional four-part hymns, songs with lead sheets, choral accompaniments and solo keyboard music. A bachelor's degree in music is preferred, but experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. The organist is required to play at all 10:30 am Sunday morning worship services as well as the annual Christmas Eve services. On Sundays when the choir sings anthems, the organist must rehearse with the choir at 9:30 am. There is no requirement to attend any other choir rehearsals. Compensation is $7500-$8000 per year.
