Clamp Truck Operator

Westaff is looking for a Clamp Truck Operator in the Ashaway, Rhode Island area for Immediate Start!

Ashaway, Rhode Island Shift:

8:00am-4:30pm

Monday-Friday Pay Rate:

$18-20/hour DOE This role is responsible for loading and unloading shipments, moving palletized products with a clamp truck, and performing receiving duties to ensure accurate and efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities

• Operate a clamp truck to load, unload, and transport pallets throughout the warehouse
• Hand-unload products when necessary
• Use handheld scanners to assign license plates and update inventory locations
• Verify incoming shipments against invoices and resolve discrepancies
• Stock, transfer, and organize received materials
• Assist other warehouse departments with order processing and inventory movement
• Perform manual pallet-wrapping of tall or unstable pallets
• Maintain accurate receiving records and documentations Requirements
• Previous warehouse or material-handling experience preferred
• Ability to learn and use a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Comfortable with moderate to heavy physical labor
• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Strong attention to safety and detail .
