Local dedicated grocery route servicing Connecticut & the NYC metro area.Operating Radius:
250-mile radius with predictable, consistent routes.Equipment:
Automatic day cabs.Freight:
Dedicated dry van grocery; unloading freight is required.Dry grocery deliveries Trailer sizes:
53', 51', 48', 45' Average 2-3 stops per trailer Typically 1 primary load per day Secondary load possible if hours allow Requirements Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A) 3+ months of driving experience Good driving record (see below) Must be comfortable driving in New York City daily Ability to physically unload freight Strong customer service skills Moving Violations (max in 3 year period) No more than 2 in the last 3 years Warnings on PSP will count towards moving violations- Based on the offense date Policy on License Suspensions No more than 30 days in the last 3 years for moving violation No more than 12 months in the last 3 years for non-moving violations Must have a valid license for 2 out of last 3 years DOT Recordable Accidents No more than 3 minor accidents/incidents in the past 3 years No more than 1 highway accident in the past year No major preventable in the last 3 years • Major Preventable Accident Definition•Damage totaling $25,000 or more I ncidents (max in 3 year period)No more than 3 incidents in the last 3 yearsTicket / Accident / Incident Combo No more than 3 accidents and/or tickets No more than one preventable with less than 12 months of experience Maximum Major Moving Violation (in the last 3 years) No more than 1 serious moving violation in the last 3 years • Failure to yield is now a serious moving violation Major Moving Violations•Automatic DQ's No careless or reckless driving convictions in the last 3 years No rear end or roll over accidents in the last 3 years Apply today!
