Class A CDL Tractor Driver

We are seeking Class A Tractor Driver's to join our Samson Trucking team! We are an expanding locally owned and operated trucking company. Responsibilities Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues Safely operate a tractor-trailer Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Skills Proven work experience as a truck driver at least 1 year Valid CDL A license Ability to drive standard tractors ( We DO NOT have automatic tractors) Ability to drive long hours Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) Have an account within the FMCSA Clearinghouse Pay Starting pay is based on experience and knowledge.
