(Department of Transportation) regulations Stacking Manual transmission Truck loading and unloading Flatbed Full Job Description Key Responsibilities Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer for local pallet deliveries and pickups Load and unload pallets as needed (forklift or yard assistance provided where applicable) Secure loads properly and ensure compliance with DOT regulations Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Follow all company safety policies and procedures Keep equipment clean and report maintenance issues promptly Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Minimum 3 years of Class A driving experience (local preferred) Clean driving record (no major violations) Ability to operate manual transmission Experience hauling flatbeds or dry vans preferred Ability to lift, stack, and move pallets as needed Strong time management and reliability Fluent in English (Spanish a plus)
