Class B CDL Delivery Driver

Duties Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles, while delivering refrigerated freight efficiently. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transit. Drive route-specific deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical issues or safety concerns before and after trips; report any maintenance needs promptly. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery paperwork in compliance with company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any unforeseen delays or issues. Assist with warehouse duties when needed, including staging freight for pickup or preparing shipments for dispatch. Skills Valid Class B CDL license with a clean driving record. Experience operating manual transmission trucks and commercial vehicles. Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route driving and freight handling. Ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklifts or manual techniques; forklift certification is a plus. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and freight transportation. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and customers. $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
