Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated professionals with paraprofessional and behavior support experience to make a real difference in the lives of students. This contract position is for the 2025-26 school year in the Schuylkill Haven and Mahanoy City, PA areas, providing 1:1 services for a 16-year-old student as a Behavior Technician. Applicants with backgrounds as a Behavior Specialist, Behavior Technician (BT), or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) are encouraged to apply.

Key Qualifications:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional, behavior technician, behavior specialist, or RBT Strong commitment to supporting students with unique behavioral needs Experience providing 1:1 support in educational or clinical settings Ability to implement behavior intervention plans and provide data-driven support Excellent communication and collaboration skills Flexible, patient, and eager to create a positive impact in a school environment Background clearances and state/federal requirements completed or in process

Role Responsibilities:

Provide direct 1:1 behavior support for a high school student Implement individualized behavior plans and positive reinforcement strategies Collect, document, and report data on student progress and behavior Work collaboratively with educators, specialists, and family members Support the student both in-classroom and during transitions as needed Foster a safe, encouraging, and respectful environment for personal and academic growth Hourly pay rates range from $25 to $27.50, providing competitive compensation for your commitment and expertise.
