Key Qualifications:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional, PCA, or similar support role in a school setting Candidates with LNA or CNA credentials are also encouraged to apply Comfort with assisting students with personal care (toileting and physical positioning) Ability to foster a positive, encouraging environment for students with life skills needs Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Role Responsibilities:

Work closely with one student in a life skills program, providing 1:1 academic and care support Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to implement personalized learning and care plans Assist with academic tasks, classroom activities, and daily skills development Manage freshening routines, including toileting assistance and student positioning as needed Maintain detailed records of student progress and daily activities
