Overview:

Position open immediately! Must live in New Bern. Please do not apply if you live outside of New Bern. We are seeking a very reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to clean one large office 3 evenings a week, for 4 hours each cleaning. Total 12 hours per week. Perfect for a energetic retiree. A couple is definitely preferred. This is a permanent position. If you're looking for temporary employment until you find something full-time, do not respond..Must be highly dependable and be willing to work quickly and efficiently. An eye for detail is a must as well as willingness to work hard. Definitely not just looking for a warm body to fill this position. As a cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in all areas of this office, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for our client. This position is for Monday and Wednesday evenings starting at 5:30pm. and Fridays the office is available to clean starting at 1:30pm..Days and times can not be changed.

Duties:

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as wiping down all hard surfaces, mopping, and vacuuming all floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and polish mirrors and faucets.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Clean windows, doors, glass surfaces, and mirrors
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways and lobbies
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
• Adhere to company policies and regulations

Skills:

Attention to detail: Ability to notice small details and maintain high standards of cleanliness Time management: Efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes Physical stamina: Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods of time Strong work ethic: Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality results. You will be working alone in the evenings. Unless it's a couple which is preferred. All materials and supplies are provided and on site.
