Cleaning Technician

Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance. Conduct carpet cleaning using specialized equipment to remove stains and dirt buildup effectively. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas by sanitizing surfaces, trash removal, and replenishing supplies. Utilize janitorial tools and environmentally friendly cleaning products to ensure safe and effective service delivery. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to uphold quality standards and protect health. Inspect assigned areas regularly to identify additional cleaning needs or maintenance issues requiring attention. Document completed tasks accurately and report any maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly. Requirements Proven experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or environmental services is highly preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing. Ability to operate carpet extractors, floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other cleaning machinery safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results every time. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy equipment or supplies, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
