Job Title:
Cleanroom Technician Job Description Run and watch metal stamping machines in a cleanroom. Make sure parts are high quality and safe. Follow instructions, handle materials correctly, and do basic machine care. Responsibilities Check machines and make sure parts meet specs Follow work instructions and use the right materials Set up and adjust materials to keep machines running well Safely run multiple stamping machines Report any problems right away Inspect parts for defects and accuracy Enter job info correctly in the system Do basic upkeep (add oil, small fixes) Use simple hand tools as needed Keep your work area clean and organized Follow all safety and company rules Work with the team and speak up about issues Essential Skills Some manufacturing or hands-on work experience preferred but not required Can follow written and spoken instructions Strong attention to detail Basic math and measuring skills Can safely use hand tools and equipment Good problem-solving and common sense Comfortable in a cleanroom/production setting Reliable and shows up on time Can work alone and with a team Basic reading skills Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Organized and detail-focused approach to tasks and documentation. Willingness to learn the full production process from start to finish. Retail or customer-facing experience that demonstrates reliability and teamwork. Willingness to learn and take on new tasks and responsibilities over time. Work Environment This position is based in a cleanroom and production environment with regular exposure to machinery, noise, and certain chemicals. You will frequently stand, bend, and use your hands throughout the shift and should be comfortable lifting up to 80 pounds as needed. The role involves working around metal stamping equipment and related tools, following safety protocols, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace in line with production and cleanroom standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chester, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
