Job Title:
Warehouse Clerk / Administrative Assistant Job Description This role combines front-office administrative support with light warehouse duties in a climate-controlled distribution environment. The Warehouse Clerk / Administrative Assistant provides professional customer service by answering phones, greeting visitors, managing correspondence, and supporting order processing, while also assisting with basic warehouse tasks such as picking, packaging, and labeling. Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner. Greet visitors upon arrival and provide welcoming, helpful front-desk support. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and other deliveries. Write and distribute emails, memos, letters, faxes, and forms as needed. Invoice customer orders accurately and in a timely manner. Process credit card payments and ensure accurate documentation of transactions. Scan and organize documents to maintain accurate and accessible records. Perform data entry and maintain up-to-date information in relevant systems. Use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for daily administrative tasks and communication. Support order entry and related administrative functions for the warehouse. Assist with warehouse tasks such as picking, packaging, and labeling products. Follow office management procedures and use office equipment such as printers and fax machines. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. Collaborate with team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations. Essential Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Customer service orientation with a pleasant temperament and positive demeanor. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively. High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures. Working knowledge of office equipment such as printers and fax machines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work. Ability to perform administrative support and data entry tasks accurately. Capability to support basic warehouse activities such as picking, packaging, and labeling. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with administrative support in an office or warehouse environment. Experience with order entry and invoicing processes. Familiarity with packaging and labeling procedures in a distribution setting. Kitting or assembling product kits is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Richland Hills, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
