Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will serve as the backbone of our office operations, ensuring smooth administrative processes, exceptional customer support, and efficient office management. Your energetic approach and organizational skills will help create a welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and team members alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your clerical expertise while contributing to a professional and supportive workplace. Responsibilities Manage front desk duties, greeting customers and processing payments appropriately with friendly professionalism Must be bondable Operate multi-line phone systems to handle inquiries, transfer calls, and provide excellent customer service Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and our CPA program Handle filing, document proofreading, and ensure all paperwork is organized and accessible Support office management tasks such as calendar management, and time management coordination Bookkeeping tasks using our CPA system when needed Provide customer support via phone or email, addressing inquiries with courteous phone etiquette and professionalism Experience Prior office experience in clerical or administrative roles is highly preferred Demonstrated proficiency in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with Excel and other bookkeeping software is a plus Knowledge of Auditing and Bookkeeping Able to record and transcribe minutes from monthly Town Meetings in a clear and accurate manner Excellent communication skills
