Job Description
Job DescriptionJob Description Client Accounting Specialist At Brickley DeLong, we believe a career in public accounting should be more than just busy seasons and billable hours. We are one of West Michigans longest-standing full-service CPA firms, but what truly sets us apart is our people-first culture, collaborative environment, and commitment to helping our team members grow both professionally and personally. Here, we operate as One Firm with a shared vision and team mentality. We believe the best client service happens when people support one another, communicate openly, and work together across departments and offices. Whether you are just beginning your career or bringing years of experience to the table, you will be surrounded by a team that values mentorship, innovation, accountability, and relationship-building. At Brickley DeLong, you are not limited to one narrow career path. Our team members gain exposure to a wide variety of industries, clients, and service areas while having opportunities to grow into leadership roles, expand their technical knowledge, and make a meaningful impact both within the firm and throughout the West Michigan community. We work hard and take pride in delivering exceptional service to our clients, but we also recognize the importance of flexibility, family, personal growth, and maintaining a positive workplace culture. We are continually investing in our people, technology, processes, and future because we believe strong teams create strong client relationships. If you are looking for a firm where your voice matters, your growth is encouraged, and your team genuinely wants to see you succeed, we would love to connect with you. About the Role We are currently recruiting for a full-time position within our growing Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) department. Our CAAS team partners closely with businesses and organizations to provide accounting support, financial insight, advisory services, and operational assistance that help clients make informed business decisions and stay focused on growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical side of accounting and building strong client relationships. The right candidate is organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and excited to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where no two days look exactly the same.
