Job Description
ZABA Therapy is BCBA-D owned and operated, bringing more than 30 years of expertise to the field. We provide a growth-focused environment for every BCBA and offer flexible opportunities designed to ensure that client progress and family satisfaction remain central to our mission. Our team structure provides strong, ongoing support from highly experienced clinicians—BCBAs with a minimum of seven years of experience and BCBA-Ds with over 30 years of expertise. We take pride in the depth of knowledge available to you every day. We are seeking an LBAs/BCBA who is looking for a growth position for our Hamden clinic. The clinic has a small capacity of 15 clients And graduate students providing support for the BCBAs. Job Description Provide clinical direction, parent training, and supervision of RBTs/BTs for a caseload of clients receiving services in our Hamden Clinic. Manage clinic staff and scheduling, and manage services for a full client caseload. Most services occur between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM; occasional later sessions or parent-training requests may occur, including limited weekend sessions for weeks where there are excessive cancelations or holidays to ensure children receive the services they need. Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Complete functional assessments and design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans aimed at reducing and eliminating challenging behaviors. Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to support continuity and quality of care. Communicate with and coach parents on treatment procedures and child progress across all developmental domains. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of medically necessary services—including your own and your staff's session notes—in accordance with state regulations, insurance requirements, and HIPAA standards. Pay Structure The clinic-based BCBA will participate in a scorecard-based compensation model in which billable hours are one component. Quarterly earnings increase with performance across quality metrics, client progress, capacity management, and family satisfaction. Qualifications Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with individuals, families, and caregivers
