Clinic Nurse Wamego, KS 66547 From $21 an hour - Full-time From $21 an hour - Full-time Job brief The candidate chosen for this position will be responsible for monitoring our clinic's daily operations and ensuring the best quality services for the patients. Tasks of the position include administrative and clerical tasks as needed such as organizing patient files, communicating with other departments and healthcare organizations, preparing medical reports, assist medical professionals in medical procedures, and observe sanitary and hygienic standards. The candidate must have strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills and excellent time-management skills to perform duties under minimal supervision. Responsibilities Coordinating patient care plans by liaising with all necessary care providers and medical professions to ensure patient needs are met Use computer software record patient information to the medical record, coordinate follow-up appointments and refer patients to specialists as needed Mastermind ways to improve the quality of patient care. Works to create efficient systems and workflows within the clinic Attend departmental meetings and stay up to date on all business initiatives related to the clinic Collect and input patient data, insurance information and financial information into computer system Manage the clinic budget and ensure that the facility is well-equipped to provide top of the line service while remaining mindful of the bottom line Meet with patients and patient families to ensure their needs are being met and resolve any issues or complaints that arise Manage chronic illnesses such as hypertension, coronary disease and diabetes. Maintain provider and patient confidentiality, HIPPA compliance. Requirements Proven nursing experience Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task Compassionate with good communication skills Excellent teamwork skills Experience with charity care Current State RN or LPN license
