In the Outpatient environment spanning ambulatory care, outpatient clinics, primary care, pediatrics, NPs, and PAs, the Nurse Clinic Director will orchestrate access, throughput, and continuity across coordinated services while elevating family engagement and clinical quality. Reporting to a senior clinical nursing executive, the Nurse Director of Clinic is supported by assistant nurse managers, clinical educators, practice administrators, informatics specialists, and care coordinators, with strong collaboration among physicians, APPs, pharmacy, PT/OT, social work, and case management. As a Clinic Nurse Director, core responsibilities include multi-site operations leadership, staffing and budgeting, accreditation readiness, infection prevention, safety and Just Culture practices, patient access optimization, throughput and scheduling performance, evidence-based quality improvement, staff engagement and development, EHR and analytics adoption, and service recovery that sustains top-tier patient experience alongside a friendly, diverse, and highly skilled inter professional team.
