Description Under the general direction of the Supervisor/Manager of Clinic Operations with clinical oversight from the

Director of Clinical Operations, RN:

The Radiation Oncology nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of patients in the radiation oncology department. The ability to retrieve, communicate or otherwise present information in a written, auditory or visual fashion is essential. The radiation oncology nurse is responsible for patient education, physical assessment, nutrition counseling and assisting physicians with exams and procedures. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
