Clinic Scheduling Coordinator - MG Spine and Pain - FT (40)

Position Summary The Clinic Scheduling Coordinator functions under the direction of the Practice Manager. This position performs all scheduling and related administrative duties for diagnostic testing, outpatient procedures, and specialty clinic visits. Responsibilities include obtaining prior authorizations, coordinating with the hospital, communicating patient preparation requirements, and maintaining complete and accurate documentation in the EMR system. Required Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Strong computer skills with ability to navigate EMRs and scheduling systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced clinical environment. Strong understanding of medical insurance, including how to verify benefits and obtain prior authorizations Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. as needed. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of cardiac terminology, testing procedures, and pre/post testing instructions.
