Overview
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Provides clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers and care teams by coordinating patient flow, assisting with documentation, and helping ensure efficient, high‑quality patient care. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); no exceptions.
- At least one (1) year of clinical experience required, two (2) years preferred.

- Knowledge of medical terminology and routine clinical procedures.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation.
- Effective communication and patient interaction skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Time management and workflow coordination.
- Teamwork, collaboration, and professional conduct.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- May be required to possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
- Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within sixty (60) days of hire and maintain throughout employment.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
- Must meet and maintain pre-employment and periodic background investigation adjudication for childcare.
- Adheres to all organizational policies, including confidentiality, privacy, and HIPAA requirements.
