This pivotal role involves managing clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and fostering a collaborative environment for staff and clients alike. The Clinical Director will play a vital role in developing treatment programs, supervising clinical staff, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical programs focused on behavioral health, mental health counseling, and specialized therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Supervise and mentor clinical staff, including therapists, counselors, case managers, and support personnel to ensure adherence to best practices and professional standards. Oversee patient assessments, intake procedures, treatment planning, and ongoing case management to deliver personalized care tailored to each individual's needs. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as
HIPAA, ICD
coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and medical documentation standards. Coordinate crisis intervention efforts, crisis management protocols, and emergency response procedures to support clients in urgent situations. Facilitate group therapy sessions, child & family counseling, and specialized services for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Maintain accurate medical records and documentation while supporting research initiatives related to behavioral health outcomes. Skills Extensive experience in behavioral health services including mental health counseling, psychotherapy, and case management. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Proven ability to lead clinical teams effectively while fostering a collaborative environment. Expertise in crisis intervention techniques, crisis management strategies, and working with individuals experiencing PTSD or other trauma-related conditions. Skilled in working with children, individuals with disabilities—including developmental disabilities—and those requiring special education or autism-specific interventions. Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations using tools such as ICD coding systems; experience with medical records management is essential. Excellent communication skills for patient assessment discussions, family counseling sessions, and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
