Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Director who is both a strong clinician and an operational leader - someone who understands that quality care and program peformance must work together. This role oversees all clinical services while partnering with executive leadership on program development, performance outcomes, and strategic growth. This position is ideal for a licensed clinician who wants influence beyond therapy sessions and is motivated by building systems, mentoring staff, and improving organizational effectivesness. Responsibilities Provide supervision and mentorship to therapists and clinical staff Ensure adherence to ethical, professional, and evidence-based treatment standards Review and approve treatment planning, documentation, and clinical decision making Develop clinical competencies and training programs Conduct performance evaluations and corrective coaching when needed Oversee day-to-day clinical operations across programs Improve workflow efficiency and accountability within the clinical team Monitor productivity expectations and staff utilization Collaborate with admissions and medical teams to ensure appropriate level of care placement Maintain readiness for TJC and state licensing standards Oversee chart audits, corrective action plans, and documentation compliance Requirements Active NJ clinical license LCSW strongly preferred Minimum 5 years clinical experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment Minimum 3 years supervisory or leadership experience Strong knowledge of documentation, medical necessity, and level of care criteria Experience with regulatory standards and accreditation readiness Experience managing clinical operations, not just supervising therapist IMR Certificate Embark on a leadership journey that empowers you to shape the future of healthcare delivery.
