Job Description
Job Overview Bay Community Health (BCH) is seeking a Clinical Director (MD/DO) to lead our clinical team and provide direct patient care as a Family or Internal Medicine Physician, with a deep commitment to community health and patient advocacy. BCH is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families across Southern Anne Arundel County, Maryland. As a multi-site health center, BCH is dedicated to expanding access to healthcare, advancing health equity, and improving patient outcomes. Our providers serve a diverse patient population, offering comprehensive primary care and behavioral health services in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive primary care services in accordance with Maryland's Scope of Practice regulations. Collaborate with BCH's Chief Medical Officer and provider team to develop, implement, and maintain clinical best practices. Deliver patient-centered care with a focus on prevention, wellness, and health equity. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.Qualifications:
MD or DO degree with an active Maryland medical license or eligibility for licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in Family or Internal Medicine Pediatric experience is a plus 3 or more years of experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred Spanish-speaking candidates strongly preferred Demonstrated commitment to community-focused, patient-centered careBenefits & Professional Support:
40 hours of CME/CEU annually for full-time providers $1,200 annual CME/CEU and professional development allowance for full-time providers- , which may be used toward conference registration, subscriptions, travel, and lodging Reimbursement for required professional licenses and certifications, including State of Maryland and applicable federal licenses (e.
