Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - CFY Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-5th grade students as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners by providing speech-language services in a dedicated school environment. Serve a manageable caseload of 25-30 students at a single elementary school, working closely with resource staff to help every child reach their communication potential.
Key Qualifications:
Hold a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Possess or be eligible for state licensure as an SLP (Clinical Fellow Year candidates also welcome) Hold or be pursuing ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or in CFY status Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Experience in school settings with K-5th grade populations is preferred
Main Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to K-5 students in a resource setting Complete evaluations, write reports, and contribute to the development and monitoring of IEPs Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success Maintain organized and confidential documentation on caseload progress Attend professional development sessions and participate in new staff training (date to be determined) Provide therapy, interventions, and support during school hours: 8:25am-4:00pm, 35.5 hours per week Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment This school-based contract runs from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027, affording you the school-year schedule and the chance to focus on a single site and team throughout the assignment.
