Responsibilities:

Perform and analyze laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and other assigned areas. Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of test results in compliance with regulatory standards. Record and report test findings to physicians and other healthcare professionals. Follow quality control protocols and participate in proficiency testing. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, safety guidelines, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

Current and valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license. Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field. Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting. Proficiency with laboratory information systems (LIS) preferred.
