Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A clinical pharmacist role is available to support inpatient pharmacy services in Beaverton, OR. Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and appropriateness Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy plans Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust treatments as necessary Utilize clinical knowledge to provide drug information and education to patients and staff Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards involving medication use Use technology platforms such as Cerner and Pyxis to manage pharmacy workflows and inventory
Qualifications:
Valid Oregon Pharmacist License required Experience in inpatient pharmacy preferred, with clinical knowledge of acute care settings Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems advantageous Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and quality care
