Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Louisiana is seeking a Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist for a 13-week contract covering day shifts from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on an every-other-week schedule. This role focuses on providing expert pharmaceutical care in the Cardiovascular ICU and Medical ICU2.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver clinical pharmacy services in critical care settings, optimizing medication therapy for Level 1 trauma patients. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes in high-acuity cardiovascular and medical intensive care units. Utilize EPIC electronic medical records proficiently to document and manage medication profiles. Ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and hospital protocols while maintaining patient safety.Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of one year recent experience as a critical care or clinical pharmacist with exposure to Level 1 trauma cases. PGY-2 residency training is highly preferred. Active Louisiana pharmacist license is required. Board certification is advantageous but not mandatory. Comfortable working withEPIC EMR.
