Outpatient Work Schedule:
The contractor may work 8-11 hour shifts between the hours of 0000-2359, no more than 40 scheduled hours per week from Monday through Saturday with an uncompensated 30 - 60-minute lunch break. Monday - Saturday 0000-2359 On-call requirements for each labor category are as follows:
N/A Inpatient Work Schedule:
The inpatient pharmacy provides service 24/7. Contract pharmacist can be regularly scheduled for 8-to-12-hour shifts from 0000-2359 Sunday to Saturday. Regular hours per 1 FTE per year is 1912 hours with 170 overage hours per FTE. The work hours will be limited to 80 billable hours per 2 weeks.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Doctoral degree in Pharmacy from a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE). Current employees may qualify for the position with either a Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy or a doctoral degree in Pharmacy from a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE).
Board Certification/Residency:
Board certification in one or more of the pharmacy specialties recognized by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties, or completion of a clinical pharmacy residency or fellowship accredited by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists or American College of Clinical Pharmacy, or documentation of appropriate education, training, and/or CME in the practice of clinical pharmacy.
Experience:
Minimum (1) year of Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist experience. Experience working in a military treatment facility preferred.
Licensure:
Must have a current, valid, and unrestricted license as a Pharmacist from any state.
Life Support Certifications:
Possess and maintain current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider and ACLS certifications.
Note:
May obtain
BLS/ACLS
upon acceptance, prior to start date.
Security:
Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
